Detección de antígenos circulantes de Trypanosoma cruzi en pacientes en fase aguda y crónica utilizando anticuerpos policlonales y nanoanticuerpos La enfermedad de Chagas es una infección causada por Trypanosoma cruzi. Según la OMS, entre 8 a 10 millones de personas en el mundo están infectadas. Actualmente, el diagnóstico de rutina se basa en la detección de anticuerpos. Sin embargo estas pruebas presentan problemas de reacción cruzada, variación de eficiencia en diferentes poblaciones; un problema adicional de la detección de anticuerpos es que los anticuerpos estan presentes incluso después del tratamiento exitoso y la erradicación del Agosto 2013 Enero 2017 HOLGER MAYTA
