CURIOSO VILCHEZ WALTER HUMBERTO

Médico Cirujano graduado de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH). Doctor (Ph.D.) en Informática Biomédica por la Universidad de Washington de los Estados Unidos (USA), y Máster en Salud Pública por la misma universidad. Investigador distinguido RENACYT calificado por el Consejo Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Tecnológica - CONCYTEC. Tiene experiencia en formulación, planificación, implementación, supervisión y evaluación de políticas públicas nacionales relacionadas a salud, educación, y gobierno electrónico. Consultor internacional en salud pública, evaluación de programas sociales, y gobierno electrónico para instituciones como el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID), la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS), la Comisión Económica para América Latina (CEPAL), y los Institutos Nacionales de la Salud de los EE.UU. (NIH). Cuenta con 20 años de reconocida trayectoria científica y tecnológica validada con más de 120 publicaciones científicas especializadas en las principales revistas indizadas y libros a nivel nacional e internacional, en temas relacionados a salud materno infantil, innovación, educación, y gobierno electrónico. Actualmente es Vicerrector de Investigación de la Universidad Continental (Perú). El Dr. Curioso es además Profesor Asociado Afiliado de la División de Informática Biomédica de la Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad de Washington de los Estados Unidos. Fue ViceMinistro del Ministerio de Desarrollo e Inclusión Social. Se desempeñó como Asesor del Despacho Ministerial del Ministerio de Salud (MINSA), y también laboró como Director General de la Oficina General de Estadística e Informática del MINSA. Fue Superintendente Adjunto de la Superintendencia Nacional de Salud - SUSALUD. Ha sido Director de Evaluación y Gestión del Conocimiento del CONCYTEC de la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros del Perú.
