GUTIERREZ AGUILAR DIMITRI ALEXEY

El Dr. Dimitri Gutiérrez es especialista de la Dirección General de Investigaciones en Oceanografía y Cambio Climático del IMARPE Y Coordinador de la Maestría en Ciencias del Mar de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. El Dr. Gutiérrez ha liderado varios proyectos del IMARPE con la cooperación internacional, tales como el proyecto CENSOR (FP5, Unión Europea, Instituto Alfred Wegener), el Laboratorio Mixto Internacional DISCOH (‘Dinámica del Sistema de la Corriente de Humboldt’) entre el IMARPE y el IRD (Francia). En el aspecto de articulación entre la investigación y la formación académica, el Dr. Gutiérrez ha sido el investigador principal de la Cátedra CONCYTEC en Ciencias del Mar, basada en una alianza estratégica entre la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, el IMARPE y otras instituciones. En relación a la temática científica de su especialidad, el Dr. Gutiérrez es un investigador de la relación entre procesos biogeoquímicos redox y comunidades en el sistema bentónico (Gutiérrez et al., 2008), así como de la relación entre escenarios climáticos del pasado, tendencias recientes y la dinámica de la ZMO y productividad frente al Perú (Gutiérrez et al., 2009, 2011, 2016).
