MERCADO ZARATE ERIK HERNAN

Actualmente laboro como a)Biólogo en el Laboratorio de Biología Molecular y de Genética (LABIMOG) del Instituto de Medicina Legal del Ministerio Público ; b)Asistente de investigación en el Instituto de Medicina Tropical "Alexander von Humboldt" de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) y c) Profesor Auxiliar de la Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal. Tengo amplia experiencia en el manejo de herramientas moleculares como PCR, PCR en tiempo real y secuenciamiento. Cuento con mas de 5 años de experiencia en el área de Infectología Pediátrica donde realicé investigaciones varias como diagnóstico, cuantificación y caracterización de patógenos entéricos asociados a diarrea así como en el área de Enfermedad Neumocócica, gracias a al entrenamiento en el Centro de control y prevención de enfermedades de EEUU (CDC-USA), donde aprendí técnicas como la serotipificación molecular de cepas de Streptococcus pneumoniae. Gracias a todo este trabajo actualmente formo parte del registro Nacional de Investigadores en DINA y REGINA del CONCYTED donde figuran las diversas publicaciones realizadas en revistas científicas nacionales e internacionales, al alcance de estudiantes, profesionales y la comunidad científica.
