RAMIREZ COLLANTES DAVID ANTONIO

Soy biólogo con un doctorado en "Conservación y restauración de ecosistemas y su diversidad biológica" por la Universidad de Alicante - España. Actualmente me desempeño como Científico Senior en la Division de Ciencias de Cultivos y Sistemas. Recibí el Premio al Mérito Antúnez de Mayolo 2015 por Investigación en Ciencia de la Academia Peruana de la Ciencia por el CONCYTEC. Con 49 publicaciones en revistas de factores de impacto (con contribuciones en Science y Nature), mis líneas de investigación se centra en: - el manejo de riego para permitir un ahorro significativo de agua sin reducciones en el rendimiento, - la inspección de rasgos de las plantas que resaltan sus respuestas funcionales a la sequía utilizando modelación y sensoramiento proximal y remoto, y huella de carbono y agricultura regenerativa. Proyectos de investigación Uso efectivo del agua en el cultivo de papa en zonas áridas: Mejorando el manejo del riego mediante el monitoreo del estatus hídrico para enfrentar el cambio climático Este proyecto tiene como principal objetivo establecer un sistema de toma de decisiones para el riego de papa basado en umbrales fisiológicos y modelación que permita un óptimo rendimiento de tubérculos bajo diferentes condiciones hídricas. Proyectos de investigación Adaptabilidad de sabadilla o sebadilla (Schoenocaulon officinale) en dos agroecosistemas de Perú Este proyecto tiene como principal objetivo el analizar la adaptabilidad del Schoenocaulon officinale a través de inspecciones de crecimiento y ecofisiológicas con la empresa privada MGK de Estados Unidos. Proyectos de investigación Adenda de extensión: Adaptabilidad de sabadilla o sebadilla (Schoenocaulon officinae) en dos agroecosistemas de Perú El 27 de marzo de 2018 se firmó oficialmente el Convenio de Servicios de Investigación, que posteriormente fue modificado, para realizar investigación agronómica y de adaptación sobre sabadilla (Schoecnocaulon officinale) en dos estaciones experimentales del CIP (La Molina y San Ramón). Basándose en la experiencia de 2 años de investigación sobre el manejo del cultivo de sabadilla en dos agroecosistemas y teniendo en cuenta los importantes resultados relativos a la generación de semillas. Proyectos de investigación Facilitar el acceso de los pequeños agricultores a los mercados de carbono. Una colaboración multilateral en América Latina: OneCGIAR y Bayer Este proyecto tenía como objetivo: i) analizar la brecha actual para crear mercados y sistemas de compensación viables para reducir o prevenir las emisiones de carbono o aumentar su secuestro basándose en ejemplos de sistemas de cultivo de patata, cacao y maíz, ii) proponer una hoja de ruta para hacer viable el desarrollo de créditos de carbono en los sistemas de producción de la agricultura familiar (a través de mercados u otros mecanismos).
