Ingeniera de Sistemas, Magister en Economía, Doctora en Ciencias de la Educación. Estudios de Verificación y Validación de Software en la Universidad Nacional de SIngapore, estudios de Métodos Formales en el International Institute for Software Technology - Macao/China. Profesora visitante en Kenesaw State University, Atlanta - Georgia Consultora en Business Process Management (BPM) y Busines Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) Docente Investigadora RENACYT. Sus lineas de trabajo han sido en temas de mejora del proceso de enseñanza/aprendizaje con el uso de TIC y, en la enseñanza del proceso de redaccion de articulos para estudiantes de Ingeniería. Actualmente investiga el uso de realidad virtual, realidad aumentada y el desarrollo de guantes instrumentados para la mejora motora y cognitva en procesos de rehabilitación en niños. Miembro de la IEEE Women in Engineering, IEEE Education Society y IEEE Professional Communication Society. Desde el 2015 realiza trabajo de mentoría empoderamiento a mas mujeres en el área de software a través de programas de ayudantías, y mediante la creación de comunidades y redes de ayuda en pregrado alineada a la agenda de la UNESCO al 2030.

Proyectos de investigación Construcción de un modelo 3D para asistir en la cirugía de reemplazo articular de cadera a partir de imágenes de Rayos X, para el tratamiento de osteoartritis y osteoporosis, en el Hospital Docente de la UNSA de Arequipa El proyecto pretende: a) estudiar técnicas de procesamiento de imágenes y reconstrucción 2D-3D que existen actualmente en el estado del arte y han presentado resultados óptimos. b) implementar un prototipo con la técnica que se adapte a nuestro contexto y brinden resultados óptimos; analizando las limitaciones y proponiendo un método híbrido. c) validar la propuesta del método híbrido.
