ZIRENA VILCA FRANZ

Es graduado en Ingeniería Agronómica por la Universidad Nacional del Altiplano de Puno-Perú; posee maestría en Agricultura Andina por la misma universidad; Doctor en ciencias, en el área de concentración de Ecología Aplicada por la Universidad de São Paulo – Brasil, posee una estancia Pós Doctoral en el Centro de Energía Nuclear para la Agricultura CENA-USP Brasil; fue investigador visitante en la Universidad Industrial de Santander-Colombia, Universidad de Kagoshima - Japón y en la Universidad de la Rioja – España. Docente Honorario de la Universidad Nacional de Juliaca y Ex Director Ejecutivo del Instituto de Investigación para el Desarrollo del Perú de la Universidad Nacional de Moquegua. Realiza trabajos de investigación relacionados al análisis de residuos de pesticidas, antibióticos, cianotoxinas y contaminantes orgánicos persistentes (POPs) en alimentos y matrices ambientales, evaluando los impactos de los mismos en el ambiente para lo cual utiliza sistemas cromatográficos en fase líquida y gases acoplado a analizadores de masas y detectores FLD, UV-DAD y ECD. Posee amplios conocimientos en sistemas de calidad para laboratorios, seguridad en laboratorios y protección radiológica; es miembro de la Sociedad Brasilera de Espectrometría de Masas y de la Asociación Nacional de Bioseguridad del Brasil.. Actualmente es Docente Investigador en la Universidad Nacional de Moquegua.
