Agricultural Engineer (2010) graduated from the National Agrarian University (UNALM) in Peru. MSc. in Water Resources in Agricultural Systems at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) in Brazil. PhD in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation at the Institute of Hydraulic Research (IPH) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in Brazil. He worked with the model of erosion hydric of soil 3D RUSLE and the characterization of potential rainfall index in the Peruvian Andes in a context of climate change by the end of this century. During his PhD he worked on developing methodologies to better estimation of spatio-temporal hydrologic variables through using large-scale hydrological-hydrodynamic modeling and data assimilation techniques of in-situ, remote sensing and/or synthetic SWOT observations. Therefore, to yield datasets called Hydrologic Reanalysis that could help us to characterize, spatially and temporally, the hydrological variability (e.g. climate change assessment or past extreme events) for several past decades and/or during the satellite era. These methodologies were already applied in the Amazon basin and some datasets related are freely online available. He also worked in a postdoctoral position at IGE (Institut des Géosciences de l’Environnement), University of Grenoble Alpes in the AMANECER - Connexion Amazon-Andes project under the context of the initiative Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) from the French government. He worked at the LEGOS (Laboratoire détudes en géophysique et océanographie spatiales) in the context of the project TOSCA DYBANGO. Currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at CNES (Centre National dÉtudes Spatiales) and LEGOS in France.
